Hello friends and happiest of Thanksgivings to you! Part of the fun of living in a New England state where the seasons change is… DECOR!!! Once fall hits all the pumpkins arrive on stoops and harvest wreaths go up on the doors. Thanksgiving – and/or Friendsgiving – is prime dining room decorating time! It’s like fall decor but to the next level. I know… apparently I have too much time on my hands. Well I can assure you the exact opposite is true. I think that’s why this year I was so obsessive with making the house beautiful for the season (even if I was a little late, like second or third week of November late). This fall has been nuts. Absolutely chaotic with work work work work and then more work. Work that is certainly rewarding, however enough work to have neglected my home and creative sense for a while. I think the nester-creative-decorator-artist side got a little backed up and then exploded… in Christmas Tree Shop. So even if I had to decorate at 10pm after work I was determined! I was able to get a simple yet beautiful Thanksgiving table together. Take a look!
I love the simple yet festival and beautiful table top filled with fall colors! What do you think? Now we just need FOOD and loved ones! I had everything already except the main center piece and leaf plates which I purchased this week on sale 50% off…
Leaf Plates: Christmas Tree Shop
Centerpiece wood pumpkin on stand: Christmas Tree Shop
Red & white small wreath: Christmas Tree Shop
Brown Candlesticks (with real pumpkins on top): Ikea (similar)
Runner: purchased in a local market in Antigua, Guatemala in 2009
Teal plates: Walmart
Silverware: Bed, Bath, & Beyond (similar)
Gold stripped napkins: Ikea

Also, speaking of fall wreaths… because I waited until basically mid-November to do my fall decor I got this wreath 50% off at Christmas tree shop! Yup, I spent all my lunch money on it. What can I say, priorities.
