Is anyone else happy Spring is APPARENTLY finally here?! WOO! I AM! Last week it snowed and yet today it’s supposed to get up to 70 degrees or something! Clark isn’t the biggest fan of the beach like I am, but I am going to try and convince him to go with me today [insert very smiley face]. When we bought our house one of the greatest advantages is our close proximity to the beach. I can even walk if I’m feeling up to it… less than a mile away!
I think every New Englander is outside today and was updating their Facebook status’ about it yesterday even. There’s something about fresh Spring air that is so therapeutic. The beach is even better! Breathing in that ocean salty air and walking with sand in between my toes. Le sigh. This is why I always say that I could never live far from the beach. I could never move inland. The furthest I’ve ever lived from the ocean was in college. I was about an hour away, maybe 45 minutes on a good day… but THAT beach was totally worth it! Tropical and on the gulf coast (before the BP oil spill) there was manatees and dolphins! Here in New England I’ll have to settle for the most exciting ocean critter being an overly excited gull.
Spring time sun and air also makes me want to spend more time with loved ones outside! I can’t wait to throw our first BBQ at the Groveland house (my name for our home). Bringing together friends and family is my favorite thing to do at the Groveland house. Now that the weather is [hopefully] going to cooperate I’m on pinerest looking to see what I can do with our little outdoor space! Any ideas for me? I have a tiny little green area and a lot of driveway.
So, I’ll leave you with these cute little Spring time photos of me and the husb taken by Autumn Aguiar Photography. I’ll warn you now, my double chin game is strong in these photos… don’t judge me! When Clark does cute candid stuff in photos it’s harder for me to remember my model poses – haha! Enjoy the pics and get outside today! Spring is finally here!
